Grow
Once you have made some acquaintances and feel comfortable on a weekly basis attending our Sunday morning worship service, you may desire to start digging a little deeper into some of the topics that you've been hearing about. Sunday School classes and Life Groups are where that happens best. Based in a highly connective smaller setting, these groups encourage critical thinking where we are challenged to think through what we believe, why we believe it, how those beliefs are impacted by the Bible, and how we can be changed in our daily lives.- Sunday School classes
Immediately following our worship service on Sunday mornings we have Sunday School. Groups of people meet throughout our building and engage in teaching and discussion that focuses on the study of the Bible and how it applies to our own lives. These groups are encouraged to welcome new guests and to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible so that discussion will be open and engaging. In these groups you are welcome to participate but are not required to do so. We hope that eventually you will feel safe enough to ask questions and in turn gain insight that will help you on your journey with God. Sunday School is a part of our overarching Adult Ministry, and more information can be found here.
- Life Groups
These groups of people meet outside the context of what we do on Sunday mornings and they are generally held in homes. Life Groups tend to have no more that 10 to 12 members each, intentionally designed to maximize the ability to connect with each other. This is often where personal needs are met best because we create the opportunity for you to know a small handful of people very well. This is your family within the larger church family and everyone is encouraged to "do life together" as you share in each other's challenges and triumphs. Biblical teaching is still present and discussion is fostered through the safety of community. Life Groups are a part of our overarching Adult Ministry, and more information can be found here.
- The Path (Discipleship Program)
We hope that through your experiences in our Sunday morning worship services as well as Sunday School and Life Groups that you will desire to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are here to support you in your decision to become a Christ follower, and The Path is a tool that will help you maintain healthy growth in your relationship with Him. Your journey will begin with a Prayer Encounter weekend retreat, which is an intensive two day worship and teaching experience, broken down into nine different sessions designed to help you achieve daily victory in your life as you learn to lean on God through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. After the Prayer Encounter you will walk through four different classes, all twelve weeks in length which will take you from simply believing in Jesus to truly following him, becoming his disciple, seeking to serve as he served, and finally becoming a disciple-maker yourself as you invite others to begin their journey with Christ as well. Throughout this time of study and growth, you are encouraged to stay connected to your Life Group for weekly support and prayer.
